Our Success Story
We have been serving clients since 2001. As our client base has grown, so have our service offerings.
McCord Web Services had humble beginnings. Started in 2001 in Waldorf, Maryland by Nancy C. McCord, our firm was a one person enterprise, building clients by word-of-mouth. Our first web design client was a neighbor. In the next couple of years, our client base grew, serving more local Waldorf businesses.
Success in Our Local Market
After several years, McCord Web Services established an LLC in Maryland and continued to expand service offerings by client request into webmaster updates, blog writing, and paid search account management. We continued to grow and provided services in Maryland from 2001 to 2015.
As our business and services grew our client base shifted from our local region and state to mostly clients in California and all points in-between. Blog writing was a core business for us with search engine marketing as a close second.
Relocation to Virginia
In September 2015, our family and firm moved to the Fredericksburg area in Virginia. We closed our Maryland LLC and reorganized under the same name in Virginia in October 2015. Our business continued to grow and new team members were brought in to help with the work load after intensive training and mentoring.
Now, our firm specializes in paid search marketing programs, but continues to offer blog writing, social media writing, and web design. Our unique expertise continues to be our strength in understanding how search engines rank sites for organic placement, how to communicate transparency, and build confidence in your services using website, blog, and social media content.
Our Mission Remains the Same
Our mission is to change the face of business through innovation and personal example, while never losing sight of our key commitment to integrity, sound advice, and competent financial stewardship in every project we undertake for you. We are committed to helping businesses grow by leveraging search engine exposure using paid and unpaid methods.
